These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Screen Scale.
1. License
Screen Scale is licensed, not sold. MacThru grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app according to these terms and applicable App Store rules.
2. Intended use
Screen Scale is intended to help users adjust supported Mac display scale and resolution settings through a menu-bar utility.
3. Compatibility
Available display modes and scaling options depend on macOS, the Mac model, connected displays, cables, adapters and display capabilities. MacThru cannot guarantee identical options on every setup.
4. User responsibility
You are responsible for selecting display settings appropriate for your hardware and workflow. If a setting is uncomfortable or unsuitable, use the reset option or standard macOS display settings.
5. Restrictions
- You may not copy, redistribute, resell or sublicense Screen Scale except as permitted by law.
- You may not use the app in violation of applicable law or Apple platform rules.
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer the app except where such rights cannot legally be restricted.
6. Updates
macOS changes may affect available display modes or app behaviour. Screen Scale may be updated to maintain compatibility or improve functionality.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Screen Scale is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MacThru will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use Screen Scale.
9. Changes and termination
MacThru may modify, suspend or discontinue Screen Scale or revise these terms as the product evolves.
