Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Cine 5.1 Safari extension.
1. License
Cine is licensed, not sold. MacThru grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the extension in accordance with these terms and applicable Apple platform rules.
2. Intended features
Cine is intended to enhance supported Netflix viewing in Safari through features such as 5.1-audio controls, requests for 1080p playback and a watch-history experience with additional title information.
3. Feature availability
Netflix playback behaviour, 5.1 audio, resolution, title availability and page structure are controlled in part by Netflix, your account, subscription, network, device, browser, operating system and audio hardware. Cine cannot guarantee that every feature will be available for every title or setup.
4. Third-party services
Cine is an independent MacThru product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Netflix or IMDb. Netflix and IMDb names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
5. User responsibility
You are responsible for using Cine in compliance with applicable law and the terms of any third-party service you access.
6. Restrictions
- You may not redistribute, resell or sublicense Cine except where permitted by law.
- You may not use Cine to bypass access controls, payment requirements or account restrictions.
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer the extension except where such rights cannot legally be restricted.
7. Changes to Netflix or Safari
Netflix or Apple may change their websites, services, browser behaviour or APIs at any time. Such changes may temporarily or permanently affect Cine features.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Cine is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. MacThru does not warrant uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every Netflix, Safari, macOS, network or hardware configuration.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MacThru will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use Cine.
10. Changes and termination
