These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Cine 5.1.
1. License
Cine 5.1 is licensed, not sold. MacThru grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app and Safari extension according to these terms and applicable App Store rules.
2. Netflix 5.1 audio
Cine 5.1 attempts to expose or request 5.1-channel audio options when compatible Netflix content and playback conditions support them. MacThru does not guarantee 5.1 availability for every title, account, device or audio setup.
3. Netflix 1080p playback
Cine 5.1 can request 1080p Full HD playback, but the final playback resolution is controlled by Netflix and can depend on the title, subscription, network, browser behaviour and hardware.
4. Watch History
The watch-history feature is a convenience tool for supported Netflix and Prime Video activity. It is not an official account-history product from Netflix or Prime Video and may differ from history information maintained by those services.
5. IMDb context
IMDb details or links are provided for convenience where supported. Availability, accuracy and third-party content are controlled by the relevant third-party service.
6. Website changes and compatibility
Netflix, Prime Video, Safari or IMDb may change their websites, playback systems or policies at any time. Those changes can affect Cine 5.1 features temporarily or permanently.
7. Third-party trademarks and affiliation
Netflix, Prime Video, IMDb and their respective marks are the property of their owners. Cine 5.1 and MacThru are independent products and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those services unless explicitly stated.
8. User responsibility
You are responsible for complying with the terms of the streaming services, Safari, Apple and any applicable law when using Cine 5.1.
9. Restrictions
- You may not copy, redistribute, resell or sublicense Cine 5.1 except as permitted by law.
- You may not use the app to violate applicable law, third-party rights or platform rules.
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer the app except where such rights cannot legally be restricted.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Cine 5.1 is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MacThru will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use Cine 5.1.
12. Changes and termination
MacThru may modify, suspend or discontinue Cine 5.1 or revise these terms as the product and supported websites evolve.
