1. Safari extension access

To provide its features, Cine may need permission to read and modify supported pages on Netflix websites. That access is used only for extension functions such as enabling supported audio behaviour, requesting playback quality and displaying watch-history enhancements.

2. Netflix page information

Cine may process information already visible or available within supported Netflix pages, including title information and viewing-history information needed to display the extension’s watch-history experience.

3. IMDb information

When IMDb details are shown, Cine may use title information to retrieve or link relevant public movie or television information. Availability and data sources can change as the product evolves.

4. Local settings and storage

Extension preferences and enabled/disabled feature settings may be stored locally in Safari or macOS storage so the extension can remember your choices.

5. Personal data and selling of data

MacThru does not sell personal information collected through Cine. The extension is not designed around advertising profiling or third-party ad tracking.

6. Diagnostics

Apple may provide crash or diagnostic information through its developer and App Store systems depending on your Apple privacy settings. Such information is governed by Apple’s policies.

7. Third-party services

Netflix and IMDb are third-party services with their own privacy practices. Cine is not affiliated with or endorsed by Netflix or IMDb, and use of those services remains subject to their respective policies and terms.

8. Retention and removal

You can disable or remove the Safari extension and clear its local data using Safari or macOS controls. Any information retained by third-party services is governed by those services.
